Pedalo were not ranking for relevant keywords, restricting their visibility in the search results for prospective clients. They wanted to demonstrate their expertise and improve their search engine profile.
Uprise Up knew Pedalo needed to better demonstrate their Expertise and Authority on the topics Drupal and WordPress. To do this we started with a content gap analysis for Drupal and WordPress keywords, which informed a content strategy outlining the articles Pedalo should write and publish. FAQ content was developed and published on the core service pages and existing content was optimised. Internal linking recommendations were also provided to increase accessibility of content and ensure link equity (Trust) was being dispersed evenly and to priority landing pages.
Results in detail.
Once new articles around WordPress and Drupal were published, we saw an immediate uplift in clicks.
Growth in organic traffic stemmed from improvement in ranking position of new blog content and existing content. Pedalo earnt new page 1 rankings, including the featured snippet for ‘how to increase page speed in WordPress’ in June 2021 (it was in position 32 in June 2020). Announcement of Google’s Page Experience update meant Pedalo’s new content was a trending topic, influencing additional traffic.
